The firgurine was not what a considered quality.Understandably you get what you pay for. This item was intended as a joke in our office and the painting was peeling and didn't cover the item. That said it was well received by the intendee. I would not purchase this item again.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this in the mail. I had placed this on my wish list a while ago and watched the price go from nearly $30 to only $12.95. I wanted it because I have a son who "carries the world on his shoulders" and I wanted to get it for him to make sure he knew that he isn't the only one who feels this way. He loves the Greek and Roman gods from reading and watching the Percy Jackson series. So, I felt it would be relatable for him. Reading the reviews I was beginning to think it was going to look cheesy. Much to my surprise it was actually quite a nice weight, very distinct features, and doesn't appear plasticy at all. I didn't have the problem others had of the paint peeling off. Perhaps it is because we live in a very dry climate, but I don't have any issue with it. In fact, I'm quite glad it isn't metal as I fear it could end up being destructive to my wood furniture or floor if it fell.
